All About Labor of Love LLC
My Story
Hi! I’m Emily. I’m so glad you’re here! I grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I’ve always had a passion for helping mommas and their babies. I never knew what a doula was, but as soon as I found out I was all in! I attended the birth and postpartum doula course through Childbirth Professionals International in the Brookings hospital. While I was in the process of getting certified, I had a baby girl of my own. My labor was far from beautiful. After that I knew I had to become a doula. I wanted to help other women so hopefully they wouldn’t have to go through what I did. As a certified Doula, I offer personalized birthing support. My goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and labor process.

Training
I attended the birth and postpartum doula course in Brookings, SD. Along with the in person training, I interviewed some birth workers and helped with a few births before I got my certification. I also attended a spinning babies course and am constantly looking for ways to gain more knowledge in my field.
